Tandoori Lamb Ingredients: 3/4 kb lamb chops 1 tbsp garlic paste 1 tbsp ginger paste 3-4 tbsp yogurt 1 tsp kasuri methi (available in Indian stores under that name) 3 tbsp lime juice 1 tsp garam masala 1 tsp chili powder 1 tbsp coriander powder 1 tsp cumin powder 2 tbsp oil salt to taste Method: Slit the lamb with a knife and rub salt and lime juice to it. Take a mixing bowl and add all the ingredients and mix them well to form a marinade. Marinate the lamb overnight preferably in a refrigerator or 6 for hours (lamb needs to be marinated more time to make it tender) Place the lamb under a hot grill or barbecue and grill till the lamb is cooked and tender slightly smoky brushing the left over marinade from time to time. |
