Rice Pulao
Ingredients: 25gms butter 1 small onion finely chopped half stick cinnamon 1/2 tsp cumin seeds 1 cardamom pinch of turmeric 1 bay leaf salt to taste 175gms Basmati rice 400ml boiling water Method: Place the butter in a large bowl, Heat on high for 1 minute until melted, stir in the onion cook for 2 minutes on high. Add remaining ingredients mix well. Cover with the boiling water, cook on medium high for 15-16 minutes until rice is tender, stir 2-3 times during cooking. |
