Prawn Pickle

Ingredients:

1 kg prawns (bigger the size the better) 

3 tbsp garlic paste

3 tbsp ginger paste

3 tbsp garam masala

4-5 tbsp chili powder (adjust according to taste)

1/2 cup lime juice

3 cups oil

5 tbsp salt (adjust according to taste)

Method:

Wash the prawns and drain them well with the help of kitchen paper towels and marinate them in ginger garlic paste and salt for 2 hours. heat the oil in a deep bottomed vessel or a wok or kadai, when the oil is very hot deep fry prawns till they are fried well and a bit firm (make sure that the prawns are really fried well and firm) After all the prawns are fried let the oil cool (to the same oil) and add chili powder , garam masala and the fried prawns to it and mix well. When it is completely cool add the lime juice and mix well. Store it in the refrigerator and serve with rice or naan.
