Lime Pickle Ingredients: 10 limes 21/2 tbsp salt 3 tbsp chili powder 1 tbsp fenugreek 1/4 tsp turmeric 5 to 6 cloves garlic Method: Cut 6 lime into 4 long sections and cut the sections into half to make 8 pieces. Squeeze the juice from the rest of the limes , mix the 1 tbsp of salt turmeric and lime pieces and juice and mix well in a glass bowl and keep aside for 1 day. stir twice in-between. Dry fenugreek till nice aroma arises. Grind to a smooth powder. Mix rest of the salt, chili powder and fenugreek powder and mix well. Can be eaten with plain rice, It goes very well with curd rice.Tastes best when used after a week. |
