MOONG DHAL DOSAS (Seera Paruppu Dosa)
Pearl Subramanian - Yemen.

Ingredients:

1 Cups Rice; 1 Cup Seera Dhal, 6-8 Green Chillies (or to taste); 5-6 Tbspns Coconut Scrapings, Salt to taste; Asafotida 1/4 level tspn.; grated Ginger 1 tspn.

Method:-

Soak separately the Rice & Dhal. Wash well & grind Rice to a Smooth paste, place in a bowl, now grind the Dhal, & while doing so add the Coconut Scrapings, Asafotida,Salt & the Green Chillies, remove from blender & mix with the Rice flour, the consistency should be like Dosa Batter not too thin. Heat a Dosa Tava, & make thin, crisp Dosa's & serve with Chutney/Sambar/Mulagai Podi.
