Coconut Chicken Ingredients: 1 kg chicken cut into medium sized pieces 1 tbsp ginger paste 1 tbsp garlic 1 large onion 1 tbsp chilli powder 11/2 tsp garam masala pinch of turmeric 1/4 Thick coconut milk 2 tbsp oil salt to taste Method: Clean the chicken, Heat oil in a pan chop the onion finely and add it to the oil, Fry the onion till translucent, Now add the ginger garlic paste fry for 3 minutes and add the chicken, salt, turmeric and chilli powder. cook it on medium heat for 15-20 minutes till the chicken is done .Now add the coconut milk and mix well and cook for 5-6 minutes till the curry becomes nice and saucy, add the garam masala and cook for 5 more minutes and turn the heat off. Serve with Tangy Vegetable Biryani . |
