Chole Ingredients: 3 tbsp Chole masala 1 large onion 250 gms chick peas or kabuli chana (boiled) 2 large tomatoes 1 potato boiled and chopped 1 tsp ginger garlic paste salt to taste Method: chop the onion into thin slices and fry it till golden brown, add ginger garlic paste and fry for 2 minutes, chop the tomatoes and add it to the onions. Cook for 6 minutes. Add the chole masala and fry for 3 minutes and then add the boiled chick peas, salt and the potato pieces cook pouring 1/2 cup water for 15 minutes till it thickens and mash the potatoes and chick peas slightly. Serve with parata, chapathi or roti. |
