Chicken curry Ingredients: 1 kg chicken cut into medium sized pieces 1 tbsp ginger paste 1 tbsp garlic 1 large onion 1 tbsp chilli powder 11/2 tsp garam masala pinch of turmeric 1/4 cup water 2 tbsp oil salt to taste Method: Clean the chicken, Heat oil in a pressure cooker or a pan chop the onion finely and add it to the oil, Fry the onion till translucent, Now add the ginger garlic paste fry for 3 minutes and add the chicken salt, turmeric, water and chilli powder. Pressure cook it on medium heat for 15-20 minutes or cook it in the pan till
the chicken is done ( this will take longer and needs more water). Take the cooker off from heat and let it cool Once you take off the lid add the garam masala and cook for 5 minutes ( more time if there is too much water) |
